Ready, Set, Go with Denim this Spring

That's's Ready, Set, Indi-Go Go time.
I love a fabulous spring dress, a killer handbag, knockout jewelry, and to-die-for shoes, especially when they're new!  But I also really love a great pair of denim jeans. I love light indigo, dark wash, black jeans, white really doesn't matter and I DO have a denim jacket in every color that I just mentioned. Indigo is such a relaxing, go with everything and spring like color; you just can't have too much of it. Even if you're a working woman or one that wears work out clothes to the gym daily, I bet you have a lot of opportunity to wear denim on a weekly basis too? With the styles and links listed below, you can rock your own indigo denim this spring.
For starters, you'll be happy to know that alllll styles of denim are showing up as appropriate and on trend this spring. Whether your preference is the skinny jean, flare leg, boyfriend, distressed, colored, cuffed, traditional or hold it - get ready to celebrate - the high waisted jeans...Yes, those too are making a comeback. The other big trend in denim is colored denim - bold hues of blue (like these in blue crocus I just got from Talbots - to softer pastel versions like the ones shown below; colored denim is one way to add yet another pair of jeans to your wardrobe! And oh, Talbots has them at $20 off right now.
Here's a collection put together by a fashion blogger, JoLynne Shane:
I receive a lot of questions by women in the workplace that want to find a way to still look professional on dress down days. The other group that the questions come from are those that aren't typically in a professionally setting on a daily basis but working occasionally and want to be "professionally casual". Well, here are some options. Think about adding a fabulous handbag as your "pop" of color and when coupled with really purposeful jewelry for the finishing touch, you can easily go from Naked to Knockout. I mean literally. Jeans with a solid, soft cotton Tee and flat sandals IS A look. Take that same base of pieces, add a jacket, a scarf and the right accessories and BAM - Now, you've got a "look" worth remembering. I trust these pictures depict that for you. It doesn't matter if you wear the heels with the flare leg denim (which I often prefer for work) or some really cute ballerina flats; both options will work for work
